The Bull on Bell Street in Henley-on-Thames has reopened after a major refurbishment that is set to make it the top spot in town for al fresco dining and drinking this summer and beyond. The makeover, devised by Brakspear's in-house design team, has created a large, stunning outdoor space behind the pub, now called The Courtyard.

A CAFÉ in Henley has closed. Lawlor’s in Duke Street had been shut since November and now owner David Rodger-Sharp has decided to close it permanently. The café was on offshoot of the Lawlor’s bakery at Henley Enterprise Park, off Greys Road, which was due to close before being rescued by Mr Rodger-Sharp.

The Bull on Bell Street sits in the heart of Henley town centre - a short drive from Reading - and is now offering customers the chance to dine in its alfresco-style courtyard.

A NEW catering kitchen has been unveiled at the 60-Plus Club in Henley. The £50,000 refurbishment includes a new a turbofan convection oven, stainless steel work surfaces and new flooring. The work was carried by kitchen specialist Caterplan, of Hannington, Hampshire. The official opening at the club in Greys Road car park was carried out by Mayor Sarah Miller, who cut a red ribbon and unveiled a plaque by the entrance to the kitchen.
