Inflation is forcing many restaurant owners, like Scott, to make tough decisions.

WICHITA, Kan. (KAKE) - The Urban League of Kansas and the Kansas Food Bank are partnering together to provide a mobile fresh produce drive-thru this week. The event is from 2-3 p.m. on Thursday at 2418 East 9th Street North. Only one visit per household is permitted. Anyone in need of food assistance is encouraged to attend while supplies last.

New Normandie Center owners Brent and Kerrie DuPont plan to transform the property at Central and Woodlawn into an updated neighborhood center. Get ready for Wichita’s Taco Fest in Andover Saturday

ANDOVER, Kan. (KSNW) — Preparations are underway for Wichita’s Taco Fest taking place on Saturday in Andover. Nnanna Okpara, the owner of Festive ICT, the company that runs Wichita’s Taco Fest, says that about 25 vendors will be at the festival. “They’re selling different things — tacos, pineapple smoothies, desserts, and corn, and chips and salsa,” said Okpara.
