A buffet-style Chinese restaurant that has served hungry customers in Norwich for the past 18 years has closed. Riverbank Chinese Buffet in Wherry Road closed its doors for the final time on Thursday, June 16. From traditional Chinese food to authentic recipes, the Riverside restaurant served a variety of dishes for families to choose from.

Music will return to Calaveras County Parks this year, courtesy of the Calaveras Arts Council. Kathy Mazzaferro, Calaveras County Arts Council Executive Director, was Wednesday’s KVML “Newsmaker of the Day.” Every concert will take place on Wednesday nights from 6:30 until 8:30 PM. The concerts are free of charge.
