GOODYEAR, AZ — A longtime Valley-based Mexican food chain is set to open its first West Valley location this summer. Someburros’ Goodyear restaurant is set to open on July 16 at 50 N. Estrella Parkway. The chain also is planning to open new locations in Peoria and north Phoenix in 2023. The family-operated group of restaurants, which has specialized in authentic and fast-casual Sonoran-style Mexican foods since 1986, is making the leap from the East Valley to the West Valley, with the chain’s new hybrid concept featuring a walk-up counter, indoor dining room, outdoor dining and a drive-thru.

PEORIA – Economic issues have led to the closure of the Tea Room in the 3300 Event Center complex in North Peoria. “The price of food, it’s tripled,” said Samantha Sandford, who opened the Tea Room in September of 2021.

MUMBAI (Reuters) – Rice bran has become a sought-after commodity in India as the world’s biggest importer of vegetable oils tries to overcome an edible oil shortage caused by global supply disruptions. A by-product in rice milling, rice bran has been traditionally used for cattle and poultry feed. In recent years, oil mills have started extracting rice oil, which is popular among health-conscious consumers but historically more expensive than rival oils.
