This is the return of this festival after taking off two years for COVID. The festival features BBQ joints from Texas, Alabama, South Carolina and Ohio.

SEEKING HELP — The Senior Support Action Group and the Salvation Army of Steubenville are partnering to begin a new program of delivering a food box monthly to qualifying homebound recipients, hopefully starting as soon as July 7 to accommodate innercity Steubenville residents. Volunteer drivers age 55 and older are needed to make deliveries, and signups are in progress for qualifying recipients.

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) — The Youngstown City Council Committee met Tuesday night to take the next steps on American Rescue Plan funding for the city’s parks. The committee set a baseline standard for all the parks that will use the funding. They agreed on updated signs, covered pavilions with picnic tables, renting port-a-johns and installing rubberized flooring.
