TIVERTON — After last week, the town's police officers must be feeling stuffed. Both with food and appreciation. With the week of May 15 serving as National Police Week, restaurants around town showed their love for the men in blue by supplying a copious amount of food to the Police Department. The show of appreciation started Monday, when Groundswell Cafe, Bakery, Home and Garden reached out to the department and asked if it could provide a breakfast of baked goods and coffee for the midnight to 8 a.m. shift.

Hello everyone ! Rhode Island is a place of artwork. Not only does the city have the Rhode Island School of Design, but there are many artists all over the state that create everything from sculptures and photographs to the huge murals you see, particularly in downtown Providence. Reporter Amy Russo and photographer Kris Craig interviewed one of them this week for a story.
