Owner of the festival and co-owner of the Adirondack Winery, Sasha Pardy, said, “well we had about 4,000 people today. We expect about 3,000 tomorrow. It’s a beautiful day in Lake George and people are here sampling from 120 different vendors from all over New York State.”

It includes the return of a sculptor with Adirondack ties – and new ground for the museum itself. On Friday, the museum announced that “Songs of the Horizon: David Smith, Music, and Dance” will be coming in 2023.

SARATOGA SPRINGS — The Frances Young Tang Teaching Museum and Art Gallery at Skidmore College presents “Where Words Falter: Art and Empathy,” an exhibition of work from the Tang collection that encourages visitors to strengthen their empathic muscles. The exhibition opens Saturday, July 9—the Tang’s annual community day—and runs through Dec. 18.

GLENS FALLS — The Hyde Collection art museum announced an exhibition that will honor the fine arts museum's 60th anniversary next year. The "Songs of Horizon: David Smith, Music, and Dance" exhibit, which was curated by Jennifer Field, executive director of the David Smith estate, will be the first museum exhibition to focus exclusively on the indelible influence of music and dance on Smith's work in painting, drawing and sculpture.
