The popular ArtsRiot Truck Stop returns to Burlington — but with some big changes
Food fans who’ve been pining for the ArtsRiot Truck Stop to return to Pine Street are finally getting their wish — the ever-popular event resumes Friday, May 27. It does so, however, with a big twist. The collection of trucks doling out delicious food and drink will be stationed not behind the restaurant and arts venue, but across Pine Street.

First birthday party in three years for Waitsfield girl
9-year-old birthday girl was finally able to have her first birthday party since she turned 6. Lela Seaver, Waitsfield, turned 9 last month, but had COVID and couldn't celebrate her birthday at the time. Last Saturday, May 7, she and seven of her friends were able to celebrate her birthday at Kids Creations, Waitsfield.

On Saturday, a Facebook post by Zack's Hot Dogs owners Sheila and Zack Touloupas punched Alamance County residents right in their hot dog-loving guts. The four-paragraph post let the community know the Touloupases have sold the iconic restaurant that three generations of their family have owned for nearly 100 years.

With patio season upon us, one of the country's biggest providers for online restaurant reservations has released a list that will be helpful for Oakville and Burlington residents. OpenTable unveiled Canada’s 100 Best Restaurants for Outdoor Dining, just in time for the Victoria Day long weekend and the unofficial kickoff to patio season, the company said.
