In contrast to 2020 and 2021, when campgrounds across the state were booked solid throughout the summer, there’s still some spots available at most state park campgrounds, even on popular weekends, such as around the Fourth of July.

Peterhead Prison Museum has received rave reviews from the CEO of the Association of Scottish Visitor Attractions. Gordon Morrison and his family visited the museum this week after their anticipated wait and had a "truly outstanding experience." Bosses at the museum previously told how it was on the brink of closure back in January.
