Centro will add St. Paul restaurant — and a burger joint sibling — in Highland Park

Centro, the fast-casual taqueria that proved a fast success in Northeast Minneapolis, will open its third location in the Highland Park neighborhood of St. Paul early next year. And it's bringing a friend. The Pioneer Press has a report on the plans by Centro, which found fast success when it was launched by Jami Olson and Jose Alarcon in 2018.

What's new in dining in Minneapolis and St. Paul - StarTribune.com A second location of Cardigan Donuts opened in the IDS Center and debuted the doughnut shop’s new line of ice cream treats. Work-from-home lunches had their moment about two years ago. After so many leftovers and tuna sandwiches, office workers returning to the business districts in their respective Twin Cities may be thrilled to find old favorite skyway spots and restaurants that were fortunate enough to weather the pandemic, while others may be itching to try something fresh.

Haubenschild Dairy hosts Breakfast on the Farm

Haubenschild Dairy Farms has more than 1,500 cows that are milked daily. They own roughly 3,500 head of cattle, and between six to 10 calves are born every day. The “milkers” that actually milk the cows are in operation 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. More than 1,300 tickets were sold for a pancake breakfast that was catered by Chris’ Cakes.
