Texas Book Depository; grassy knoll; Elm Street; and all the rest. Easily accessible and largely unchanged. Worth going a bit further up from the JFK area too for some other Dallas history. Full review by Sammie-Jo69

We unfortunately have ran out of time to do the tour or the museum but we would like to come down and see the spot where JFK was shot. Is there a fee to do this?
A:
No fee. We parked at a street meter that happened to have time remaining. . Also, there's a museum STORE right at the corner that is fun. It has a squash penny machine! Yea! 4Qs and 1p.
Q:
Is there an Embassy suite hotel near this area?
A:
I don't know I would check on line.
