Very good tour. Went with my family and enjoyed. Gives a great history of the city of Memphis. Especially the impact of Yellow Fever. Full review by Jayco26foot

It's in Memphis right on the edge of historical Central Gardens neighborhood where we live. Just a turn off Lamar ave. Don't miss the Cooper Young district while in the area. We love to do progressive evenings by walking Cooper street and dropping into the many eateries for libations and tapas. Thursday's are the best evenings with live music to add to the charm.

The cemetery is in South Memphis, just South of downtown in an undesirable area for those who are unsure which way to go. My advice is to contact a tour company or your hotel concierge to recommend local transportation. We are originally from Memphis and love the City. My brother and a grandfather are buried there but we recognize that just like most big cities it's not safe in all areas.

Q:
Would this attraction be good for kids? They love a good ghost story!
A:
Absolutely!
Q:
Do they have maps of "people of interest/history" ? Where they are buried, who they are?
A:
Yes and a CD you can listen to in car to guide you through is also an option. Don't miss it.
