We found the museum does not seem to run tours at set times, it is more demand driven depending on the number of visitors and language required but there was just three people on …

We found the museum does not seem to run tours at set times, it is more demand driven depending on the number of visitors and language required but there was just three people on our tour. Probably the best option is to arrive fairly early in the day and hopefully you will not need to wait too long for a specific English speaking tour. We found the staff to be fairly flexible in this regard.

Is it easy to find a Taxi back to the town from this museum around 4-5 pm?

Yes-- the Guayasamin foundation contracts with taxi service--request one at the ticket office.

yes, there is a cafe. we didn't visit so I don't know the extent of the offerings.
