Does the gardens/tour have benches and rest stops along the way ? I have arthritis in my hip ( pending hip replacement surgery ) and cannot walk long distances at a time. Thanks in advance for your answer.

The gardens do have some benches- the tours are active, walking and standing. The paths are mostly crushed stone some are brick, shale, and part of the tour traverses a large lawn. The property is whimsically designed with multiple grade changes, in some areas there are short flights of stairs. It would be best to contact the volunteers at the garden to ask about tours that suit your mobility.

Madam Walska collected plants that are rare, unique, and even downright weird, such as exotic euphorbias, cacti, cycads, and bromeliads. The collection here is based on Madame's eccentric whims. This is what makes it such an unexpected delight.
