As my grandfather was one who lost his life fighting as a British soldier with the South Staffordshire Regiment in Myanmar against Japanese forces of occupation during WW2, his name will certainly be recorded in the memorial book on display under glass in the cathedral. I have an opportunity to return to the cathedral today (20.08.17) - and possibly tomorrow morning - and would very much like to read his name in the book. How might I ask for the book to be turned to the appropriate page, please?
