The house is on three floors, but the top floor is not within the tour. No lift. When we visited one of our party was in a wheel but was able to climb the stairs. If you are not able to climb the stairs, you obviously miss quite a bit. The gardens are mostly lawns with paths. The gardens are extensive and towards the back of the estate the paths are not as smooth and the grassland becomes rougher. Our wheelchair user was able to access probably 75/80% of the gardens. If you are using a powered wheel chair it may need a bit of a push on ocassions. The cafe is accessable with a wheelchair
