Pioneer Plaza is a large public park located in the Convention Center District of downtown Dallas, Texas. It contains a large sculpture and is a heavily visited tourist site.

probably not a good idea to go there at night, in fact, I would not go into Dallas at night because of safety issues. In any large city things can go Bump into the night without the safety of daylight.

Not sure what you mean by cemetery - are you referring to the JFK memorial? If so, it is within walking distance of Pioneer Plaza. Neither are easily accessible to the airport due to traffic.
How long did it take you to walk park? Did you visit the cemetery also? We have 3 hrs to till our flight out of Dallas looking for sight seeing areas that are public and safe as can be
