Good Evening, Is it possible to visit the Submarine Force Museum via public transportation from New London? I'll be in New London for a short time and would very much like to visit the museum. But Google Maps says there's no access via public transit they do give an option to walk it! Your help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks Kind Regards OsitoPanda16

Not being a local, can't answer directly. But after much searching (CT public transit leaves much to be desired and no route maps). I'm not allowed to put a link but if you search on SEA Corridor Routes and click on the first result you can check the schedule for Route 2 which goes from downtown New London and passes the sub base. Route schedule say New London/Water street which is right downtown. Could be near the Amtrak station or the Greyhound bus station. Hope this helps.

I'd allow 2-3 hours. The movie & the submarine explore will take an hour by themselves. If you are one to read every description & stop at every display, allow 4.
