We were so excited about seeing this first but… the Fort was built to accommodate Gold rush; turned out 3/4 of the fort was under construction and we only saw 4 rooms furnished. 4 rangers sitting aro… Full review by A Joe I

How much time do you need to explore the fort?
A:
One to two hours - is usual - however my granddaughter read every sign talked to everyone -so it was almost four hours - but we all Learned a lot

where do you park
A:
There is metered parking on the street on most sides of the fort. We didn't have any trouble finding a spot and we were there mid-day in July.
