We were there last week and the waves were great. Waters a bit cold but we enjoyed it. On the right is a jetty before that there is a path leading to a bigger beach if Wallis gets crowded

When does it close for the season?
A:
Although staffing such as lifeguards and such end Sept 8th, you can still visit Wallis Sands during off season dates. The gatehouse and facilities will be closed but you can still park.

Can you use a national park pass for Wallis sands?
A:
Nope. This is a state park so you’d need the NH parks license plate or other state pass. It’s $15 per car otherwise. We love Wallis Sands.
