Great question. My wife and I are moderately active and both enjoy hiking when we can. We did the entire circuit in @4-5 hours (with @ 30 min. stop and a great discussion of the history of the area just before the bridge) and it wasn't overly difficult. I would recommend doing the entire hike as long as you are able to walk approx 7-8 miles over mild to moderate terrain.

Hello, The guide was very knowledgeable and funny ! But in Ankarana reserve, there is no choice for a guide, like recommendation. They work as a turn system. So you just go to the park office, and they will tell you who is going to be your guide. Also, if you have more days, I would recommend the entry from the west, more adventurous, more bigger and more beautiful, as for me personnally. You will need to camp to the next of the entry of the park, and make your supplies in advance. Have a great trip ! Christian
