Hi, there is quiet food website to help you decide which walk to take-it then had a map and a guide. I am not able to past the full link but look on yout search engine for words "berfex, sommer, wienerwald, touren wander" and you should be able to find it easy. I would choose a walk and then from there decided on parking etc.:)
My husband and I will be in Vienna at the end of April and want to visit some of the wineries in the Vienna Woods. How would you suggest getting to/from the Vienna Woods? Are there wine tours or shuttles that stop at a bunch of the wineries? We will not have a car while in Vienna and do not want to rent one because we will be drinking and, therefore, do not want to drive. Public transportation does not seem to get you very far either. I found a couple of bike tours, but they only stopped at one or two wineries, basically for lunch and we are looking more for a wine tasting/purchasing experience at several different wineries. Thanks for the help in advance!
