The popular pizza chain, Empire Slice, has officially opened its newest location in downtown Edmond. The slice house is located off 15th Street, east of the Edmond Railyard. The restaurant will be open Sunday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. and on Fridays and Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.

We recently found a hidden gem that we’ve never featured before – Little Venice Restaurant in Sand Springs. The stellar reviews caught our eye so we decided to try it and let’s just say we’ll be returning as often as possible. Little Venice is a destination restaurant that we promise will not disappoint.

A week ago Monday, I had the rare privilege to dine with some of Oklahoma City's best chefs and restaurateurs at the same time. The setting was Kebabish Bites, 283 34th Ave. SW, in Norman. Chef Waseem Ahmed was in the midst of wowing a table that included local culinary dignitaries chefs Kurt Fleischfresser, Andrew Black, Kevin Lee, Jeff Chanchaleune and Justin "Nic" Nicholas.

(Photo by Justin Sullivan/Getty Images) (NEXSTAR) – Kraft Macaroni and Cheese will no longer be known as “Kraft Macaroni and Cheese,” but rather the shortened, more colloquial “Kraft Mac & Cheese.” Kraft announced the arguably negligible change Wednesday morning, explaining that the new name is meant to “reflect the way fans organically talk about the brand.”

The owner of Livesay Orchards in Porter said for the second year in a row, their crops are significantly damaged because of the Oklahoma weather. Orchard co-owner Kent Livesay said they lost 90 percent of their peach crop after a hail storm last month, so they simply don’t have enough peaches to meet the demand.
