Harper and Hudson team members are pictured in front of the Aspen Country eatery following a busy evening of serving the Tuesday Cruiseday bike crowd. Located at 409 S. As a first-of-its-kind event for the F&W Classic in Aspen, the live talk show hosted by F&W Executive Producer Kwame Onwuachi featured special guests, games and humorous commentary from Onwuachi.

City trucking affordable food options into Aspen

To fill the void of an empty restaurant that used to offer affordable options on Rio Grande Place, the city has found two food truck vendors who will set up shop across from Rio Grande Park this summer. The city last month asked for bids from vendors and it received four, but only two met the criteria the municipal government was asking for, said C.J. Oliver, the city’s director of environmental health and sustainability.

New sushi concept comes to Aspen, hopes to stay long term

The Taikun omakase counter is set up at the Marble Bar in the Aspen Mountain Residences. After a successful two-week pop-up in February, Taikun is returning for the summer season and will be open six days a week, offering two seatings per night at 6:30 p.m. and 9 p.m. A piece of king salmon nigiri. The dish will be included on Taikun Sushi Aspen’s 13-course omakase menu, created by Chef Yoshikazu “Kazu” Ebina from Tokyo.
