At 8:30 a.m., the bike racks just outside the front door were nearly full with bicycles of all shapes, sizes and colors.

Concept Restaurants to open Boulder Social in former, Ska, Fate space

Concept Restaurants Inc., a chain of eateries and watering holes in Boulder and Denver owned by local hospitality luminaries Frank and Gina Day, is now the latest group to try its hand at setting up shop at 1600 38th St. in Boulder, the former home of Fate Brewing Co. and the short-lived Ska Street Brewstillery.

Eberle to serve as interim director of the University of Colorado Museum of Natural History

The University of Colorado Boulder has named Dr. Jaelyn Eberle interim director of its University of Colorado Museum of Natural History effective July 1. Eberle was appointed to serve as interim director after an initial search to succeed current director Dr. J. Patrick Kociolek did not result in a hire.

Time capsule opened outside old Loveland library building

Amy Phillips, director of the Loveland Public Library, and Jennifer Cousino, curator of history for the Loveland Museum don white archival gloves as they open a time capsule that was placed during construction of the Loveland Public Library that opened at Sixth Street and Cleveland Avenue in 1968. The building which later served as Larimer County offices is being renovated into commercial space and luxury condos.
