St. John's Catholic Elementary planted a tree in his honour on Monday Staff and students at St. John's Catholic Elementary were able to enjoy treats from an ice cream truck earlier this week thanks to the generosity of a Kitchener man. He goes by 'a St. Jerome's boy,' and has been giving to several local schools for the past 20 years.

In January, a driver crashed into the entrance of Grainharvest Breadhouse and caused extensive damage Over at a Kitchener plaza on Lorraine Avenue, freshly baked bread hides behind a boarded up storefront. There are no windows and the entrance is dark, but the name "Grainharvest Breadhouse" lets hungry passerbys know what's inside.
