Welcome to the Space Needle in Seattle, Washington! We are an iconic observation tower and one of the most recognizable landmarks in the Pacific Northwest. As you approach our 605-foot-tall structure, you'll notice our sleek and futuristic design, which was inspired by the theme of the 1962 World's Fair held in Seattle. We're proud to say that we've been providing stunning views of the city and surrounding area for more than half a century. When you step inside our elevators, you'll be whisked up to our observation deck in just 41 seconds. From there, you'll have a 360-degree view of the city, the Puget Sound, and the stunning mountains in the distance. Come visit us today!

While the structure is impressive, we didn't feel the need to spend the money to ride an elevator to see the skyline. There are other places to do that. Full review by TLG056

A sky line sight that shows an amazing view of the Settle area. We got there early and there was a long queue, but it went down quick. We bought tickets from a self serve machine. Views were amazing… Full review by HollyJane

I live in Seattle but take all my friends and family to the needle when they visit. We always get the Group On deal ticket for multiple attractions. My favorite three are the Space Needle, Chihuly… Full review by Wanderer02010483084

I see that the closing time is 11 PM, but I read from some reviews that closing time may be earlier? Also, I did purchase a CityPass, but the latest reservation I can make online is 8 PM. Ideally, I would like to go later around 9-10 PM (after dinner) - is this possible without a reservation? i.e. don't want to get there at 10 PM and there is a long wait so don't have any time at the top Thanks in advance

According to their web page they close at 11 p.m. for at least the next week. They were checking the tickets to make sure those whose times were to enter could, so don't try to enter at a later time then what is on your ticket. Now it did take nearly an hour before we actually were on the elevators to the top, but that was early afternoon and the lines seemed longer when we came down. My only other suggestion is to see if you can change your ticket time when you get there, but not sure if you can do that.

We visited the Space Needle on May 11, 2022. There was a small area at the top of the Space Needle, for drinks and sit down eating, that was different from the "snack bar". It was just opposite the elevator lobby that you use to go down to the main level. I believe that the reception desk in this area did have a sign that indicated that reservations were required. I am not certain if this is the full restaurant or if this was an interim location while the main dining area was being rennovated. The best source for this information is to go directly to the Space Neele website. Even if you can't have dinner at the top of the Space Neele it is still worth the visit - the views are amazing (on a clear day).

I was there in late February. The main restaurant was closed but they had a really nice lounge with great drinks, food and incredible views. I did not have a reservation nor did I purchase a package. I walked up to a server, told her I wanted to sit for a drink, and she showed us to a great table. It was mid afternoon, and there were several tables open. This may have had something to do with us getting seated. The food was good. We ordered a really nice tiered appetizer tower. There are some fun drinks as well (smoke from dry ice ). Call and see what they say just to make sure. I did not like the "packages" they offered, but we spent easily $100+ for two of us. It was worth it!!!
