Chef and restaurateur Frank McClelland, best known for his now-closed fine-dining destination L’Espalier in Boston’s Back Bay, will open an offshoot of his North Shore restaurant, Frank, in Somerville this fall, per an announcement today from Assembly Row.

SALT will sell the modern pastries Silva is famous for — said to reflect his French training and Brazilian roots — as well as muffins, cookies, macarons, desserts, and coffee.

According to an article from the Andover News, Bertucci's on Main Street in Andover has shut down, with a check within the locations section of the chain's website seeming to confirm this, as the outlet is no longer listed (the one in North Andover by the Andover line remains in operation).
