Monsta X member I.M has explained those lyrics he released from his upcoming song Horizon.

To keep their fans well fed while the group go off on tour, I.M is striking out on his own with a mixtape, collaborating with American singer Elhae on the title track.

Metro.co.uk was lucky enough to have a listen to Horzion, and we can tell you it’s a chilled out, base-heavy slow-jam well suited to the rapper’s distinctive voice.

I.M, Monsta X’s maknae, announced the project on the group’s official Twitter, sharing a picture of the album artwork with fans.

The striking purple image had lyrics across the bottom that Monbebe (Monsta X’s fanbase) haven’t been able to stop thinking about since.

They read: ‘I love what we have baby don’t you let me down yeh, how can I explain this come and make me wet by your under.

‘I know you want me too, oh don’t hesitate, you’re my home so baby take me there. Just come over.’

We had to know more. So we got in touch with the rapper, real name Changkyun Im, to find out what was on his mind.

‘The artwork image implies our view over the horizon, like the sun is hiding behind the ocean,’ he told Metro.co.uk of the mixtape cover.

‘I put part of the lyrics from Horizon in the artwork as the meaning of words synchronising with what the artwork image implies, which is you and I becoming as one. Sun and ocean coming together.’

Only I.M could turn it into something totally beautiful.
