Help Colorado Now, announced by Gov. Jared Polis, where Coloradans can donate or volunteer. Also, the Colorado COVID Relief Fund, hosted by the State of Colorado and Mile High United Way

Make4Covid is looking for people who have 3D printing capabilities so this grassroots co-op organization can connect face shields and produce masks for hospitals in need.

Kaiser Permanente. Make and donate masks. Step-by-step instructions for making masks at home. Look at these instructions and consider making masks to donate. You also can watch this instructional video. Send your homemade masks and/or any other medical supply donations by emailing KPCO-Supply-Chain-Logistics@kp.org with the following information:

  • Your name/city/state
  • Your email address to receive an electronic mailing label
  • Approximate weight of your shipment
  • Estimated number of boxes needed for your shipment
  • Number of masks you’re shipping
  • Estimated value of supplies

Animal Assisted Therapy Programs of Colorado, 7275 Kipling St., Arvada; 720-266-4444. Donate to cover fees that are necessary to care for the animals and keep the doors open. One-time donation or monthly donations.

Aurora Interfaith Community Services, 1553 Clinton St., Aurora; 303-241-1563. Non-profit food bank in need of masks, gloves and disinfectant supplies.

Gateway Domestic Violence Services, P.O. Box 914, Aurora. Needs cash donations and gift cards. Donations also can be made online here.

Donate to Colorado Family Meal through ParkMobile, the smart parking app serving Denver, which is committed to supporting restaurant industry workers impacted by the coronavirus. ParkMobile users can log into the app to make a donation of $1, $5, $10, $20 or $50 by entering the designated CHARITY parking zone # 103. ParkMobile will match a portion of the donation proceeds.Full details about ParkMobile’s giving campaign are available here.

La Alma Lincoln Park, 325 W. 11th Ave., 1-4 p.m., Monday-Friday. Cleaning supplies and masks.

Martin Luther King, Jr. Recreation Center, 3880 Newport St., 1-4 p.m., Monday-Friday. Cleaning supplies and masks.

Food Bank of the Rockies, (303) 371-9250. Serves the hungry in Colorado and Wyoming. Needs cash to purchase food wholesale or at lower costs through the Feeding America program. Donate online.

Denver Rescue Mission, 2222 Lawrence St. Need healthy volunteers who are under 60 and don’t have respiratory issues or other health issues to help prepare and serve food to our neighbors experiencing homelessness. Sign up here.

Care and Share Food Bank, 2605 Preamble Point, Colorado Springs. Seeking online donations to help provide food to needy people in Southern Colorado. Also asking for healthy volunteers to package and distribute food. More information here

American Red Cross of Colorado. Encouraging donations to self-collecting hospitals. Call 720-777-5398 for an appointment with Children’s Hospital Colorado blood donor center.

Pueblo Zoo, 3455 Nuckolls Ave., Pueblo. Donate to assist in animal care or consider a monthly gift.

Denver Food Rescue, Bondadosa, Focus Points Family Resource Center and Lost City partnered to deliver meals to homebound families and the elderly. Join and/or donate. 303-861-2501 (Lost City) and 720-594-2065 for more information.

A Precious Child, 7051 W. 118th Ave., Broomfield. Donate to A Precious Child’s COVID-19 Rapid Response Fund. Donation support allows this non-profit organization to deploy resources. Volunteer here.

Tennyson Center for Children, 2950 Tennyson St., 303-433-2541. Online donations help provide support while schools and providers are closed. Contributions aid bedding, meals, classroom supplies and therapy sessions for residential children.

Arc Thrift Stores’ Feed Colorado. Feed Colorado benefits Volunteers of America, especially its Meals on Wheels program. Donate to the Feed Colorado food drive. Donors can contact Arc here or by calling 303-238-5263 to schedule an at-home pick-up of donated clothes, toys, small appliances, etc., and include donations of nonperishable food items. Donations also accepted at all 31 Arc Thrift Stores in Colorado.

Dry goods – canned goods, including fruits and vegetables and items with high-protein (tuna and beans). Also nonperishable dry goods like rice, pasta and cereals can be donated.

Please mark boxes “A-R-C” and put food items in a separate container marked “food.”

Food for Hope, 3853 E. 120th Ave., 720-593-0940. Scheduled several emergency bag packing events to help children in Adams County receive food while school is shut down. Also asking for specific food donations.

Centura Health. Blood donations needed across Colorado. Visit the Centura Health website for additional opportunities to give.

Northern Colorado Home Builders Association hosting a supply drive to collect equipment for health care workers and social services organizations. Open Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-6 p.m. at 1907 North Boise Ave. Unit 1, Loveland. Second location: In parking lot of Independent Plumbing Solutions, 1611 E. Lincoln Ave. Unit A, Fort Collins. Monday-Friday, 9 a.m.-3 p.m.

Meals on Wheels: Hand sanitizer and toilet paper
Food Bank for Larimer County: Canned goods, brown rice, Mac and Cheese, whole grain pasta, whole grain cereal (low sugar) and peanut butter (non-hydrogenated oil).

Statewide Medical Supplies Drive (supplies are going to Banner Health, Kaiser Permanente, Weld & Larimer Public Health Departments):

Sterile gloves – unopened boxes, latex free
Hand sanitizer – unopened containers
Disinfectant wipes – unopened containers
Isopropyl alcohol – unopened bottles
Eye protections and goggles – unused in box or wrapper
Clear face shields – these look like welders’ masks but are translucent, unused only
Masks – tie, ear loop – unopened boxes only
Respirator masks – N95, N99, P100 – all sizes in unopened boxes. Extra filters are also needed for these devices.
PAPR respirators – 3M or MaxAir – unused. Hoods, filters, batteries, chargers, tubes to go with these units are also needed.
Disposable gowns – unused isolation gowns
Shoe covers – unopened boxes
Biohazard bags – unused

Volunteer

The Action Center 8755 W. 14th Ave., Lakewood. Help pack and distribute boxes of food at drive-thru distribution program. People also can hand out and post flyers and direct traffic at the center. Sign up here

Emergency Family Assistance Association, 1575 Yarmouth Ave., Boulder. Providing grab-and-go food bags to help Boulder residents in need. Hours are: Monday-Tuesday, 9:30 a.m.-4 p.m.; Wednesday, noon-4 p.m.; Thursday 9:30 a.m.-6 p.m.; Friday 9:30 a.m.-4 p.m. EFAA is in need of volunteers to help package and distribute bags.
