Man Caught With Bolt Cutters Charged With Attempted Burglary

A Glen Burnie man was arrested for trying to burglarize a local business; police say he hid bolt cutters in his pants.

GLEN BURNIE, MD — A Glen Burnie man was arrested for trying to burglarize a Glen Burnie business; police say he hid bolt cutters in his pants. Police spotted three man who seemed suspicious about 1:15 a.m. Thursday outside Glen Burnie Motor Sports, 20 Holsum Way.

When they saw police, the trio ran away. One of the men tried to hide a large set of bolt cutters inside his pants and wore a homemade mask. He was caught by officers while two other men are on the loose.

Police arrested Ricardo Javier Gonzalez, 37, of the 100 block of Nunnery Lane in Catonsville, and charged him with attempted commercial burglary.

The two other suspects are believed to be in their early 20s, one of whom wore a light gray hooded sweatshirt.
