Two stars of the stage will once again bring Broadway to Sussex County during a virtual concert this month to raise money for a local nonprofit organization.

Sandra Joseph and Ron Bohmer, who met while performing together in "The Phantom of the Opera" and have been married since 2002, will host a virtual concert at 7 p.m., on Thursday, April 22. The show will include a variety of classic Broadway songs sung by the couple along with a question-and-answer segment.

This year marks the second virtual show Joseph and Bohmer have performed for SCARC amid the COVID-19 pandemic, with the first taking place last June. From 2017 to 2019, the couple and other Broadway veterans held live shows at Sussex County Community College to benefit the organization.

Joseph starred as Christine Daaé in "Phantom" from 1997 to 2006 and has since become an accomplished author and keynote speaker. Bohmer performed alongside his future wife as the Phantom and has also appeared in various other plays and television shows, though he now focuses more on singing and public speaking.
