Nueces County reports 30 new COVID-19 cases, 3 deaths
Ashlee BurnsNueces County officials reported 30 new COVID-19 cases and three coronavirus-related deaths on Wednesday, bringing the death toll since the beginning of the pandemic to 400.
The new cases bring the county total to 19,875. The new cases are under investigation to determine their transmission type.
Of the new cases, there were 18 confirmed positives and 12 were probable positives. There have been 15,524 confirmed positives and 4,351 probable positives since the onset of the pandemic.
Nueces County reported three women in their 60s, 70s and 90s died after contracting the virus.
There are 85 COVID-19 patients in the hospital. Thirty-two of those patients are in the ICU. There have been 2,618 hospitalizations total.
There have been 18,948 recoveries.

The city of Corpus Christi website gives a breakdown of COVID-19 cases in the county. The genders are not included in the age range breakdown on the website.

* The number of people recovered will not be subtracted from the total number of cases, officials have said.
