We’ve had a great experience with Varsity. I was recommended to check them out by a friend (kindergarten teacher) who has used varsity for a couple years. From when I filled out an inquiry to when we got assigned a tutor was a breeze. Follow up by varsity was really great and not overly pushy. If this review was just for our tutor, Donna B, this would be a 10 star review. Donna is the perfect balance of someone who is encouraging, while also being strict enough to produce results.

My Son is Moderate Autistic with ADHD and was only reading 5-10 words in a 30 minute session (had to shorten the session length due to attention span). My Son started in September with Krystyna ** as his tutor and is now reading around 30 words a session with less errors and can even sit through the whole hour sometimes. He struggled with long words, so Krystyna started teaching him blending sounds to help him and it has worked wonderfully! He is definitely improving in school as a result. I wish schools would teach like her, then he wouldn't be so far behind.

My oldest son started using Varsity Tutors in 2020 when Covid hit and they shut down the school his Kindergarten year. I didn't want him to fall behind as we had decided to go to virtual school for 1st and 2nd grade to avoid getting sick. We found a tutor who he absolutely adored through Varsity Tutors and continued with for 3 years.

I recently had the pleasure of utilizing Varsity Tutors for my 7th and 9th graders' academic needs, and I am extremely impressed with the results. I have tried many tutors before and have not had much success. Both my Kids have been with Varsity Tutors for a Month and it has been a wonderful experience for my kids. They truly enjoyed their lessons with their tutors, their tutors are very thorough with them and their needs. The customized approach to their learning needs has been really helpful as I have never known what exactly was wrong with their reading and math challenges. The tutor will work on their strength but address their challenges each session. The review notes after each session are very thought out and keep the communication open with us the parents. I like the fact with always have a way to communicate with the tutors at all times to be flexible for any scheduled change from week to week. My kids never really enjoyed tutoring in the past, but look forward to their tutoring session every weekend and has surprised both my wife and me. Thank you.

Hip, hip, Hooray! Varsity Tutors save the day! We absolutely love our Varsity Tutors. My children are now excelling in the subjects they struggled with. My kids' writing and comprehension are now above grade level and no longer fear math. Choosing Varsity Tutors was the best decision for my family. This is the absolute best gift you can give your child academically.

They are horrible. My first and only appt they were almost an hour late. I cancelled due to the issues plus I only had $ for 1 appointment. Now they keep trying to charge my card again. And I am continually getting text messages and emails from this company. I have Repeatedly told them to stop contacting me or I would start contacting the Better Business Bureau and I need to for the harassment of emails and text messages and yet they continue on. They are hard to get canceled. I have fought like hell to get my account canceled. Multiple phone calls to them on my end was apparently canceled yesterday yet. They’ve still tried charging my card today and I have gotten four emails and seven text messages. Do not go with this company. They suck, the Tutor even quit.

I have been learning Spanish with Varsity Tutors since Dec 2023. Although it's hard I do appreciate the Varsity app which is easy to use & the tutor is awesome. I have once a week lessons & I signed up for a year. I will definitely be exploring more subjects in the future.

The process was really easy to follow. Our tutor has been great engaging my son who can be resistant to tutoring. I have seen an increase in his reading skills. I am not a fan of online learning and at first was hesitant, however my mind has been changed. I would recommend Varsity Tutors to anyone.
