Mississippi State QB Garrett Shrader spins like a helicopter after collision

Mississippi State and Kansas State played a wild game with seven touchdowns combined. But the highlight that maybe gained the most attention on social media was not a touchdown.

Late in the Wildcats' 31-24 win, Mississippi State was driving to try to even the score.

On a fourth-and-16 play, Mississippi State quarterback Shrader dropped back to pass but couldn't find a receiver open. He tried to scramble for the first down and it looked unlikely he'd even come close.

Then, about five yards away from the first-down marker, he leapt and was hit by two Kansas State defenders. The impact caused him to spin around 360 degrees. He came up one yard short of the first down.

"We had to get the first down," Shrader said. "I made the decision to go for it. It was all or nothing."
