"At this time, our district administration and building based COVID-19 Re-entry Teams are reviewing this newly issued guidance," Acting Superintendent Patrick McQueeney said in a statement. "Over the next few weeks, we will be incorporating these standards and expectations into our preliminary plans and schedules."

The district has six tenets they are working on:

  • District Return to School Roadmap Committee

  • Building COVID-19 Re-Entry Teams

  • Health and Safety Supply Purchases

  • Increased Signage

  • Staff Training

  • Addressing Regression

In order to solicit feedback from stakeholders, a survey has been launched to help officials make their plan.

"Our intention is to share the results of our work during the first week of August to provide our families four weeks before the first day of school to make any necessary arrangements and plans relative to our plans in the fall," McQueeney said.
