Regulators such the UK’s Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency and the European Medicines Agency review trial results and decide whether to give approval. During a pandemic, the timeframes can be compressed, but never at the expense of safety.

Every resident will receive a letter from the NHS inviting them for a vaccine. You will receive your letter according to the priority group you have been assigned to by your medical practice.
