DETROIT - The Yankees and Detroit Tigers will play a doubleheader at Comerica Park on Thursday due to Wednesday’s rainout.

First pitch for Game 1 is scheduled for 1.10 p.m. The second game will begin about 30 minutes after the final out of the opener.

Left-hander J.A. Happ (12-8, 5.0) will start the opener for the Yankees, while lefty Matthew Boyd (8-10, 4.57) will start for the Tigers, who won Tuesday night’s series opener 12-11 on a ninth-inning walk-off single by Jordy Mercer.
