Edley's Bar-B-Que
This is the place to go for good smoked meat (they smoke it fresh daily). Check out their other classic Southern sides like fried okra and hot wings with white barbecue sauce. Edley’s has been a neighborhood staple for over 50 years.
Yazoo Brewing Company
This brewery offers lots of tours and samplings. It started as a one-man project and has grown immensely since 2003, when it was founded. Now these beers can be found all over the state, as well as in Mississippi and Alabama. The brewery has 40 barrels and many huge tanks to see and beers range from the award-winning Hefeweizen to a Sly Rye porter.
The Bluebird Cafe
There are so many places to hear good music in Nashville but The Bluebird Cafe is among the best. Open since 1982, the space has become a neighborhood staple, offering two showings each night with people packing into the 90 seats. Bluebird is known for featuring artists like Garth Brooks and LeAnn Rimes. It’s also where the show “Nashville” is filmed.

Downtown Farmers Market
This is a great place to pick up local produce and snacks. On a beautiful day, you can stroll and eat in the Bicentennial State Park. The market itself has two sheds (that can hold up to 100 merchants) and a market house that features 16 different restaurants and shops. It has been open since the 1800’s and is a must-see in downtown Nashville.
Hattie B's Hot Chicken
This place is all about the fried chicken and the most popular is the hot chicken. You can get tenders, wings and even a whole bird with sides like southern greens and pimento mac and cheese. It’s also a great place to have a classic southern sweet tea.
Acme Feed & Seed
This is a huge restaurant and event space in the heart of Nashville. There’s a downstairs honkytonk that features local musicians, a boutique to buy local goods, a lounge and photo booth, The Hatchery (an events space) and a rooftop bar, which overlooks many historic Nashville sites.

Ryman Auditorium
