UPDATE:

Samuel Woody, 79, missing since last Friday, was found deceased, according to the Cisco Police Department Facebook page.

ORIGINAL STORY:

Cisco Police Chief Kenneth Preston told KTXS news 79-year-old Sam Woody's car has been found but still no trace of what happened to him. Woody went missing Friday morning after getting his oil changed at Precision Motors in downtown Cisco.

His 2002 tan Mazda Tribute was found in Shackelford County on the grounds of a private ranch. He was not with the vehicle. Several law enforcement agencies late Monday were still looking for Woody.

On Friday morning Woody picked up his car at Precision Motors in downtown Cisco after getting his oil changed. His step son Darryl Riggs was following him home but took a detour to get some cat food.

"He was supposed to take the car and come home but he never made it," said Riggs.

On Saturday the family put up posters all over Eastland County.

Woody is said to be forgetful and have a bad hip. He is described as 5 foot 7, and 185 pounds. He wears eye glasses and a baseball cap.
