SARANAC LAKE — Due to the ongoing social distancing requirements, the nature of choir rehearsals, and the health and welfare of members, the board of the Adirondack Singers Inc. has made the difficult decision to cancel its fall season.

That includes the choir’s rehearsals as well as its 2020 Winter Holiday Concert, scheduled to have been held the first Sunday in December — a decades-old tradition in the Tri-Lakes as the start of the musical performances of the holiday season.

“We look forward to a healthier new year, and a new beginning to the spring rehearsals with our Annual Meeting at the end of January 2021,” the group said in a press release.

Questions can be addressed to Beryl Szwed, treasurer, at szwed@northnet.org or P.O. Box 189, Ray Brook, NY 12977.
