Victoria VanScoy McAllister, NPP is a Nurse Practitioner specialist in Glens Falls New York. She graduated from Sage College in 2012. Prior to graduating as a Nurse Practitioner, she had over 20 years of diverse experience in psychiatric nursing. Victoria prides herself on providing high-quality individual care. She provides a full comprehensive 60 minute intake and 30-45 minute follow up appointments for medication management and psychotherapy. In addition, she provides a relaxed, friendly atmosphere that allows her patients to feel comfortable. She takes pride in providing a collaborative holistic approach to her treatment.

Grace Onovo is a Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and Family Nurse Practitioner with 22 years of experience - 6 of those years are devoted to psychiatric care. She spent 16 years treating patients with Substance-Use Disorders and mental illnesses. She specializes in Medication Management and Medication Assisted Treatment (Suboxone). She assesses, diagnoses and treats adults and children with sleep disorders, Anxiety, Depression, Bipolar Disorder, PTSD, OCD and much more. She offers Individual, Group, Family, and Support Therapies in addition to Motivational Interview Therapy.

I work with a collaborative group of providers at Clearwave Mental Health where we provide in-person appointments as well as telehealth appointments. Our psychiatric clinicians address both the physiological and psychological aspects of each patient to create the optimal individualized treatment plan including genetic testing to inform medication management, nutritional supplementation, QEEG mapping, neurofeedback, psychotherapy and Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation.

Leela Vasileff is a board-certified adult psychiatrist. Dr. Vasileff's practice focuses on medication management. Typically, she offers this in conjunction with various psychotherapy techniques. Occasionally, Dr. Vasileff may believe that additional therapy is needed and ask that you bring a therapist into your care team to help you achieve your goals.

Please note Sarah works with patients to taper their benzodiazepines and hypnotics, she does not prescribe them long term. Sarah is a board-certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner who earned both her Doctorate in Nursing and Master's in Nursing from Columbia University. Sarah implements a team approach, coupled with evidence-based practice when working with patients. She always includes her patients in the decision making process regarding medication management and treatment options. The core of successful treatment is a plan that both patient and provider agree on. Sarah has experience working in the community outpatient setting.

Welcome to my psychiatric practice! My name is Dr. Rafiq and I am a psychiatrist with over 15 years of experience providing comprehensive mental health care. As a compassionate and dedicated mental health professional, I understand that seeking psychiatric treatment can be a challenging and vulnerable experience. Therefore, I strive to create a safe and supportive environment for all my patients. My goal is to help my patients achieve their optimal mental health by providing individualized care tailored to their specific needs. Dr. Romanow is double board-certified in Adult Psychiatry and Forensic Psychiatry. He graduated summa cum laude from the University of Pittsburgh with a Bachelor of Science degree in Sports Medicine/Athletic Training and then attended Drexel University College of Medicine. After medical school, he completed his residency in Adult Psychiatry at the University of Virginia, where he obtained a certificate in additional psychotherapy training. After residency, Dr. Romanow completed a fellowship in Forensic Psychiatry at the University of Virginia.

Dr. Yacoub has expertise in complex mood disorders, psychotic disorders, interventional psychiatry, and advanced psychopharmacology. Dr. Yacoub focuses on the interconnectivity of the mind, body, and soul. In addition to medication management, he is proficient in supportive and interpersonal psychotherapy. He has treated adults, geriatric patients and diverse populations including and veterans. He is dedicated and empathetic to all his patients.

Dr. Yan graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Harvard University with honors in Economics. She holds a law degree from Harvard and was a practicing attorney before pursuing her medical education at New York University School of Medicine. While in medical school, she won the Best Research Presentation Award for the Jack Cary Eichenbaum Summer Scholars Program. She received her residency training in psychiatry at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, where she served on the Mental Health Crisis Response Team during the Covid pandemic.

Sifat Ameen is a board-certified, Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner. She is dedicated about providing quality, compassionate, and comprehensive mental health services, including brief psychotherapy and prescribing medications if indicated, for young adults and adult population. Her ongoing areas of interest include integrating nutrition , physical movement and improved sleep practices as foundations and multi-level response for care. Overall Sifat tends to be more conservative in her prescribing practices, especially in regards to prescribing controlled substances.

Dr. Maria Tresa Carvajal is an adult, child, and adolescent psychiatrist. She is originally from Guayaquil, Ecuador, and is bilingual in Spanish and English. She completed her adult psychiatry residency at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, BronxCare Health System and her fellowship in child and adolescent psychiatry at Northwell Health in New York. She has experience working in various settings including inpatient, outpatient, and the emergency department. Dr. Carvajal has submitted and presented work in the American Psychiatric Association and has also collaborated in a book publication.

Dr. Hallie Knopf is a board certified adult psychiatrist. She integrates a collaborative and holistic approach to establish strong therapeutic relationships and help patients achieve their goals. Dr. Knopf’s practice focuses on medication management. Typically, she offers this in conjunction with supportive or emotionally focused therapy in 30-minute follow-up visits. Occasionally Dr. Knopf may believe that additional therapy is also needed and ask that you bring a therapist into your care team to provide the best outcome.

Elba Bello, MD Dr. Bello employs different aspects of a child's life to come up with the most accurate diagnosis. She uses a psychosocial approach and invite the parents and child to actively participate in the treatment to ensure the most successful outcome. Dr. Bello has worked in a variety of settings including medication management, intensive outpatient treatment, day treatment and can offer many years of experience since completing her child and adolescent psychiatry fellowship at Columbia University in 2005. Dr. Bello specializes in working with mood disorders, anxiety disorders, and behavioral disorders.

My ideal client is someone who wishes to take a more comprehensive approach to their overall care. This individual could be experiencing a first time mental health concern but isn’t interested in a medicine only approach. This individual can also be someone who has experienced the traditional approach to care where medications are always the answer and wants something different for themselves. Medications are an important tool in psychiatry but we believe in taking a comprehensive approach to care. Allowing the body to do what nature designed by properly caring for the whole person can lead to improved outcomes for our patients.

Dr. Jessica Clark is an ANCC board-certified psychiatric/mental health nurse practitioner who specializes in medication prescription and management. She holds a doctorate in nursing practice from the University at Buffalo and bachelor of science in nursing from the University of Rochester. Before joining Rivia, Dr. Clark served as a psychiatric nurse practitioner in the U.S. Air Force where she worked with patients struggling with a wide- range of concerns including depression, anxiety, trauma, ADHD, mood and sleep issues, alcohol dependence, relationship issues, and general life stress.

I am a board certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner licensed in New York state. I went into healthcare to serve others; I started from the bottom and walked my way up. I went from a certified nursing assistant to a vocational nurse to a registered nurse and now a nurse practitioner.

Dr. Andrene Campbell is a licensed and board-certified psychiatrist specializing in the treatment of children, adolescents and adults. Dr. Campbell completed medical school at Loma Linda University in California. She completed adult residency training at New York Presbyterian Hospital " Cornell division and child and adolescent psychiatry fellowship training at New York Presbyterian Hospital " Columbia division. She has been an attending physician in the psychiatric emergency room at Northwell Health and a telepsychiatry attending physician at Northwell Health. She was also the medical director on an adult inpatient unit.
