A renovated La Puente Park got a grand opening celebration on Sunday, June 26, marking a ramped-up list of amenities at the park.
Those amenities were on display as the community got a first glimpse at the offerings.
Those new offerings include, a playground for children ages 5 to 12, a pre-schooler playground, a “fitness court,” an aerobic and weight training area, a soccer field, a skate park, renovated basketball courts, open grass areas, a walking trail.
On Sunday, attendees at the opening got a chance to receive hands-on experience with different offerings at the park.
And there were food trucks on hand to replenish after all that exercise.
