The Lake Oswego house, built in 2018, has exterior siding of cultured stone, wood and metal. Reclaimed stenciled beams were installed inside. Wood was also salvaged from massive water tank staves and old structures, adding warmth and casual elegance to the modern design, says Hoag.
The Athena emblem on display was rescued from the original American Automobile Association (AAA) building in San Francisco, Hoag adds.
