Port Chester man charged with sex crime involving child under 13

A Port Chester man is accused of sexually abusing a child several times in the first half of 2016. 

Fermin Jaimes, 46, was arrested by Port Chester police on Tuesday and charged with second-degree course of sexual conduct against a child, a felony.  

The victim, who prosecutors said was under the age of 13 at the time, told a friend and then her mother about the abuse. The victim was subjected to several acts of sexual contact on multiple occasions, prosecutors said. 

Fermin Jaimes, 46, was arrested by Port Chester police on Oct. 29, 2019, and charged with second-degree course of sexual conduct against a child, a felony.

Bail was set at $20,000 cash/bond, and he's scheduled to return to village court for a felony hearing on Nov. 4.
