Kenyon, Jacqueline

Jacqueline Ann "Jackie" (Keenan) Kenyon, 84 of Richmond, RI died peacefully on Friday October 8, 2021 surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of the late Henry E. "Skip " Kenyon they were married on Flag Day June 14, 1958. Sadly, he predeceased her on March 9, 2000. Born in Westerly, RI on June 30, 1937 she was the daughter of the late William and Gladys (Bliven) Keenan. She graduated from Westerly High School with the class of 1955. Jackie was an active member of the Chariho Community. She served on the Chariho School Committee from 1976-1982, volunteered with R.I.F Reading is Fundamental program, Hospice of South County and was a regular participant in the Richmond Town Council Meetings. Mrs. Kenyon had also worked as a waitress at several local restaurants throughout the years. She was the loving and devoted mother of, Kevin Kenyon of Richmond, RI, Mary Frances Kenyon Violette (Neil) of Griswold, CT, Theresa Kenyon Roode (Glen) of Soldier Pond, ME, Maureen Kenyon Wetzel (John) of Rockford, MI and Christine Kenyon Lewis (Ron) of North Stonington, CT., and the loving grandmother of 8 grandchildren and 1 great granddaughter. She will be sadly missed by the family of the late Charles Panciera of the Ever Breeze Farm Family and by her Florida Friend Bob Hermans of Hopkinton, RI. She was predeceased by her daughter, Colleen Kenyon Healy, her son, Timothy Kenyon, her brother, William Keenan Jr. and her sister Claire Keenan. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on 10AM Thursday October 14, 2021 at St. Joseph Church, 1105 Main St. Hope Valley, RI. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, West Greenwich, RI. Calling hours are respectfully omitted.
