Check out the nominees for the fifth Coastal Alabama Football Player of the Week and vote for your favorite choice.

Coaches can submit statistics following their games on Friday night or nominate players before noon each Saturday.

Nominations must come from a coach or official team statistician. They can be emailed to bthomas@al.com.

Voting is open until Wednesday morning. The Winner will be announced on AL.com on Thursday. Remember to hit the “finish survey” button after you make your choice.

Here are this week’s nominees:

Cole Pritchett, Clarke Prep: The senior running back/linebacker rushed for 279 yards and 3 TDs on 47 carries in his team’s 28-14 win over Autauga Academy. He also had a pair of two-point conversions. On defense, he had eight tackles and an interception. He also downed a punt on the 1-yard line.

Jarel Williams, Saraland: Williams caught four passes for 117 yards and a pair of touchdowns as the Spartans knocked off No. 3 Blount 35-13 on Saturday.

Tychius Caves, Jackson: Caves rushed 18 times for 218 yards and 2 TDs in the Aggies' victory over Selma.

Quez Jackson, Thomasville: Jackson rushed for 163 yards and 4 TDs on 22 carries in the Tigers' win over Class 2A No. 1 Leroy. He also had one reception for 32 yards.

Braden Turner, McGill-Toolen: Intercepted a pass and returned it for a touchdown and recovered a fumble in the end zone for another score as the Yellow Jackets won at Citronelle.

Billy Scott, Satsuma: Scott had 3.5 sacks and 8 solo tackles as the Gators held LeFlore to -3 total yards in a 21-2 victory.

Deontae Lawson, Mobile Christian: Ran three times for 52 yards and 2 TDs and had 6 tackles, a QB hurry and pass breakup. His one catch went for 47 but was called back.

Hayden O’Dell, St. Paul’s: O’Dell had a pair of interceptions as the Class 5A No. 2 Saints shut down Faith Academy.
