US President congratulates HM King
Manama : His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa received yesterday a cable of congratulations from US President Barack Obama marking Bahrain's National Day and the Anniversary of HM the King’s Accession to the Throne.
The US leader hailed the milestones of enduring and broad-based partnership binding United States and the Kingdom of Bahrain, citing the 10th anniversary of the bilateral Free Trade Agreement (FTA) and the 120th anniversary of the American Mission Hospital.
President Obama said that these areas of cooperation complement long-standing and mutually beneficial security cooperation, reiterating his country's commitment.
He hailed long-standing partnership between the United States and Bahrain, which is built on mutual interest and respect, looking forward to together to foster peace, tolerance, prosperity, inclusiveness, security and stability in the region and around the world.
President Obama reiterated his country's friendship with HM the King and the Bahraini people, wishing HM all the best in the coming year.
