Mansfield Memories 2019-20 calendars available

MANSFIELD – The Mansfield Memorial Museum has printed its annual calendar, according to Scott Schaut, the curator of the museum

The photos used in the 2019-20 calendar are from the vast archives and include photos from 1902 to the 1960s, Schaut said.

"The pictures can be easily recognized by residents of Mansfield in bygone days," he said.

The calendars are available at the Mansfield Memorial Museum in the Soldiers & Sailors Memorial Building, 34 Park Ave. W., which is open 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturdays and noon to 4 p.m. Sundays; and also at Mechanics Bank's downtown, Cook Road and Park Avenue West branches. The calendars also are available at Main Street Books in downtown Mansfield and Holly's Book Rack in the Appleseed Shopping Center.

"It is our ongoing project to preserve and share our heritage and bring back memories of our past," he said.

The cost of the calendar is $15 and the profit helps the Soldiers & Sailors Memorial Building and the Mansfield Memorial Museum. Checks may be made to the Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Building.

"The museum is always looking for old photos, film and recordings of Mansfield to preserve for enjoyment today and preserved for the future," Schaut said.
