An Illinois man has been arrested following an incident which occured in July. According to court documents, on July 6th of this year law enforcement officers responded to the call of a report of property damage at a local towing company in Knoxville. Upon arrival, officers were informed that a vehicle that had been towed earlier that day and that was being stored in an impound lot was now missing. Officers observed damages to a vehicle and a recreational camper that were parked in front of, and beside where the towed vehicle had been stored. A warrant was issued for Springer’s arrest on July 26th. Springer was arrested Tuesday and charged with criminal mischief 2nd degree a class D felony as well as theft 5th degree a simple misdemeanor.
